TrueFoot v1.1.1 — FC 26 Realism Gameplay Mod: Fouls Fix

Quick but important one. V1.1.1 is updated for Title Update 1.6.3, and it fixes the one thing v1.1 pushed too far: clean tackles getting whistled.

V1.1 made contact matter. Good. But sometimes the ref was punishing defending that was actually fair. This patch keeps the physicality, but makes the calls cleaner.

Clean tackles are clean again

Win the ball properly and the whistle stays quiet. No more phantom fouls for a well-timed challenge, no cheap penalties when you clearly got there first.

That matters because defending should feel risky, not random. If you read the touch and time the tackle, the game should reward you.

Fouls that make sense

The contact that should be a foul still is. Mistimed lunges, late challenges and genuinely physical duels can still get punished.

The goal here is not fewer fouls for the sake of it. It is better judgement: same body-to-body football, fewer nonsense whistles.

Fouls add-ons, rebuilt

The Fouls: Looser / Stricter add-ons have been rebuilt around the same cleaner logic. Whichever one you use, a fair tackle should stay fair.

  • Looser lets the match flow more.
  • Stricter keeps the ref sharper and more card-aware.
  • Both now respect clean defending better than v1.1.

New add-on: Motion (Light)

V1.1 introduced Motion+ for players who wanted a quicker pace. V1.1.1 adds a middle step: Motion (Light).

Use Motion (Light) if the base feels a touch slow, but Motion+ is more than you want. It gives the game a gentle lift without turning the match into a sprint again.

The current pace options are:

  • Base — the intended TrueFoot feel.
  • Motion (Light) — small pace bump.
  • Motion+ — faster, snappier pace.

Throw-ins

Throw-ins now travel flatter and more directly. Less floaty lob, more like a real restart.

Setup is the same: Custom gameplay, Authenticity OFF, Weather Effects ON, sliders 50 / 50, and leave Attributes and Referee on Default. Install the base mod first, then put any add-ons below the base in FIFA Mod Manager. The bottom mod wins, so it overrides the base. Full step-by-step on the install page.

Free as always. This is still a work in progress — making the game feel real is a constant balancing act, and it gets better with your feedback. If you enjoy it, leaving a comment on Nexus, evo-web or YouTube is the best way to pull more people in. Come talk in the Discord; that’s where the next build gets shaped.
