TrueFoot v1.0 — FC 26 Realism Gameplay Mod: First Public Release
This is it — the first public build of TrueFoot. Six weeks, about forty tuning passes, sixteen subsystems, all tested in real matches. No sliders to babysit — one opinionated build, ready to play. Here’s what changed.
What’s in V1.0
- Movement — sprint pulled back, on-ball and off-ball tuned apart, heavier first touch. No more skating end to end.
- Passing — ground balls and through-balls slowed and de-magneted; the ball carries real drag and curl. The lazy pass gets punished.
- Defending — tighter marking, compact lines, centre-backs step up. Tackles are less frequent and no longer automatic.
- Shooting — power down, error up, aim-assist pulled back. Goals are earned.
- Player identity — weak foot is genuinely weak, attribute gaps are felt, star error-immunity gone. Even the big sides misfire.
- Goalkeepers — softened and beatable. Shots from distance are live again; so are howlers.
- CPU — builds up through midfield, waits for the gap, punishes. It probes instead of sprinting through you.
Two TrueFoot signatures
- Weather, rebuilt. In the wet the ball skids low and drags as the turf soaks — a shot can catch the heavy grass and die on the line. Snow adds even more resistance and unpredictability.
- Authentic reactions, unlocked. Slips, stumbles and sliding finishes fire in the base layer, even with Custom gameplay and Authenticity OFF.
